Herlong Bates Burnett Insurance, Inc. has grown by leaps and bounds since Michael Herlong started the Greenville, SC-based insurance company in May 2002. Tom Bates joined the firm in August 2004, bringing nearly three decades of experience in the Greenville insurance market.
Since that time, Michael and Tom have leveraged their complementary expertise and 40-plus years of collective experience to build a community-minded organization focused on delivering personalized, local service to our clients.
In 2008 we welcomed John Burnett as Partner and Senior Vice President. John brought more than 30 years experience in the insurance, banking, and aviation management industries as well as many personal and professional connections in the Upstate. With Michael, Tom, and John on the team, Herlong Bates Burnett is well positioned to tackle any challenge our clients face.
